Vendetta Filmworks and Executive Producer, John Ewing III Bring the Controversial “Redemption of a Dog,” to the Big Screen
A star-studded team of actors bring the perfect mix of comedy and drama in the film “Redemption of a Dog.”
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 2012
Following up on success of “ConSINsual,” “The Perfect Man,” and “The Marriage Chronicles,” Vendetta Filmworks’ Executive Producer, John Ewing III, and writer/director, Paul Hannah of One Truth Media, come together again to bring the highly anticipated motion picture, “Redemption of a Dog” to the screen.
The Redemption of a Dog is a romantic drama that follows the transformation of a pronounced womanizer who finally meets his match in a savvy sexy psychiatrist. When his past comes back to haunt him, he must decide between his womanizing ways and being the man he was always meant to be.
The film offers the perfect mix of comedy and drama. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will be challenged to answer a simple question: Can a dog truly change his ways?
Paul Stewart, blogger and author of “The Next Thing,” states, ““Redemption of a Dog” is a contemporary piece free of male bashing, typical black female stereotypes or cooning. It shows both sides to being a dog and you must not forget there are female dogs.”
The cast includes Golden Globe Nominee, Lynn Whitfield along with Tamera Mowry (“The Things We Do For Love”), Melyssa Ford (“Think Like a Man”), Faun A Chambers (“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”),Tony Rock (“Think Like a Man”), Kiki Haynes (“For Better or Worse”), and Keith Robinson(“Dream Girls”).
Filmed on location in Los Angeles, and due to hit screens in the fall of 2012, the film is sure to top the critic’s list as the most sought after genre. “What’s missing from the current film landscape are stories about love and life in the African American community, “says Ewing. “There is definitely an audience out there who is hungry for great content. We’ve had fantastic success with our projects and we are really working hard to bring new and thought-provoking stories to the big screen. “
